Eligibility Criteria for DEE Assam Special Educator Recruitment
Age Limit (as on 01/08/2025)
UR: 18 – 40 years
Ex-Servicemen: up to 42 years
OBC/MOBC:up to 43 years
SC/ST(P)/ST(H): up to 45 years
PwD: up to 50 years
👉 Candidates must also follow the Small Family Norms(not more than two living children on or after 01.01.2021).
Citizenship
* Must be an Indian Citizen (as per Article 5–8 of the Constitution) and a permanent resident of Assam.
Educational Qualification
1. Special Educator – Lower Primary (LP) Schools
* Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education), recognized by RCI.
* Must have ATET/CTET qualified (for LP).
2. Special Educator – Upper Primary (UP) Schools
* Graduate with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. (Special Education), recognized by RCI.
* Must have ATET/CTET qualified (for UP).
Medium of Instruction
* Either Language-I or Language-II in ATET/CTET must match the medium of instruction of the school applied for.
